Choose a meal destination. For example, a healthy organic – non-GMO home-cooked Paella in a traditional home in Spain or a gluten-free Thanksgiving dinner in a historic Spanish style home in Los Angeles….
Register and reserve your seat(s) at the Host’s table.
Arrive prepared to have fun, meet new friends over a delicious, healthy meal.
It is easy and free to become an H2BLD Host. Simply indicate on your registration form that you wish to host H2BLDs. A link will be sent to you. Complete the 3 minute application and look forward to hosting your own H2BLDs. Be creative and earn money while cooking and doing what you love to do.

Why did you start H2BLD?
First, we want to encourage the integrity of our food supply. We strive for healthy, organic, non-GMO, authentic, home-dining experiences wherever possible.
Second, we want to provide great ways to have fun, network and get to know others in and around your nearby and global communities.

Organic and Non-GMO Standard
Organic and non-GMO?
Our Hosts choose to serve all Organic/Non-GMO meals or healthy meals that may or may not be all Organic / Non-GMO. H2BLD encourages all Hosts to provide all Organic and Non-GMO meals and provides support and incentives to those who choose to. A Host profile will tell you if the Host is providing all Organic/Non-GMO. Hosts are encouraged to provide food that is free from pesticides and to provide food that has not been genetically modified. Upon request, H2BLD will provide list of local organic farmers and their contact info to our hosts. Whether each ingredient is certified organic or not, we ensure that it meets the high standards kept for all meals at H2BLD.
What are your food quality standards?
Our H2BLD Hosts strive to bring you the healthiest food available. There is a lengthy list of chemical pesticides, fertilizers, preservatives, and other additives that are not welcome in your H2BLD meal.
Do you support local, sustainable suppliers?
We absolutely do. Our co-founders have been in the food industry for a long time, and have relationships with newtorks of organic and non-gmo farmers.
Why organic and non-GMO?
We choose organic and non-GMO because we know organic is better for our health and for the ecosystem. Organic food contributes to better health through reduced risk of exposure to toxic pesticides in our diet and increased nutritional quality.
Did you know that nearly 1,400 pesticides, registered by the Environmental Protection Agency for agricultural and nonagricultural uses, have been linked to brain/central nervous system, breast, colon, lung, ovarian cancers, as well as Hodgkin’s and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and more?
Are gluten-free meals available?
Yes! You can choose your food preference, including gluten-free, healthy eating, kosher, vegan, and vegetarian.
How do you ensure good, clean food in a safe environment?
Your safety, health and overall positive experience are our key priorities…… Our Hosts choose, and are encouraged to be, Serve Safe Certified (www.servsafe.com) and all Hosts are thoroughly vetted. Please report any concerns to our customer service immediately.
Host Liability Coverage
Approved H2BLD Hosts receive a $1,000,000 in insurance protection for their H2BLD event. This coverage in no way replaces the Host’s homeowner’s, renter’s, or other general liability coverage and only covers the specific H2BLD event. The protection covers Host liability in the rare event of food borne illness or bodily injury. Alcohol consumption and/or alcohol-related liability is not covered and is excluded from H2BLD liability coverage.
What if I move to a new location?
As a Guest, you will be able to find other local H2BLD Hosts. As long as you’re still with us, just change your address in your account and follow the directions. If we don’t yet have H2BLD Hosts around your new address, we’ll let you know as soon as they become available.
Can I change my reservations as a Guest?
Yes. You can change your reservation at any time before your cut-off time. Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice pays full price. Guest cancellation that is made between 24 and 48 hours pays half price. Guest reservations canceled with 48 hours or greater notice will receive a full refund. To cancel, go to “My Account” and click the cancel button in “My Bookings.”
Can I cancel a reservation as a Host?
Emergencies happen and we understand that Hosts might need to cancel. Since canceling a Guest’s reservation can have implications on their plans, penalties will be applied unless there is an extenuating circumstance.
If you cancel any reservation with less than 48 hours notice, you’ll be charged a $100 fee. Additionally, if you cancel more than one reservation within a six-month period, you’ll be charged $50 per cancellation.
We’ll automatically deduct any applicable cancellation fees from your next payout. An automated review will be posted to your listing’s profile indicating that you canceled one of your reservations. We encourage you to publicly respond to clarify why you needed to cancel.
In extenuating circumstances, we may elect to forgo the cancellation penalties outlined in our Terms of Service. Such cases will be contingent on proper documentation, where valid, and include:
– Death in the family
– Serious illness or serious illness in the family
– Natural disaster in the country
– Political unrest in the country
– Property damage
– Maintenance issues that affect the ability to host
